Wooden Furniture

To maintain the longevity of wooden furniture, avoid exposing it to extreme sunlight, moisture, heat, or cold. Use a felt or leather mat under table lamps to prevent scratches. Clean surfaces with a cloth dampened with diluted polish, and wipe spills with mild soap or cleaning polish. Polish every six months using silicone-free polish, but avoid over-polishing. Keep veneer furniture away from humidity to prevent warping.

Upholstered Furniture (Sofas, Chairs, Bean Bags) 

For long-lasting upholstery, clean professionally every six months. For spills, gently dab with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Vacuum monthly to reduce dust and odors. Use dampened rubber gloves or a sponge to remove pet hair. Dry clean removable covers as needed.

Leather & Leatherette Furniture

Avoid direct sunlight and keep leather furniture away from heat sources like radiators. For spills, dab gently with a damp cloth. Dust regularly and clean with a moist cloth.

Wooden Sofas 

Clean exposed wood with a cloth dampened in diluted polish, and polish every six months. For fabric upholstery, clean spills gently with a mild cleaner. Vacuum monthly and remove pet hair with damp rubber gloves or a sponge. Dry clean removable cushion covers.

Mirrors 

Clean mirrors with a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner.

Lamps 

Dust light bulbs regularly. For fabric shades, use a soft brush or vacuum with a crevice nozzle. Wipe wooden lamp bases and glass bases with a soft cloth, using appropriate cleaners for each material. Clean brass lamps with mild detergent and buff to restore shine.

Outdoor Furniture 

Regularly clean wicker and rattan with a vacuum or dry paintbrush. Avoid excessive water exposure to preserve fibers. For wooden outdoor furniture, wipe spills immediately and clean with a moist cloth. Wax solid wood furniture every 6 months. Clean metal furniture with mild soap and sponge, and touch up rust spots as needed. For plastic furniture, use a mild soap solution and soft sponge.

Outdoor Upholstery 

Outdoor cushions are water-repellant but should be brought indoors during heavy rain. Regularly brush fabric with a soft-bristled brush and clean spills with a mild solvent-based cleaner. Removable covers may be machine-washed in cold water and air-dried.

Engineered Wood Furniture 

Wipe engineered wood furniture with a damp cloth. Use coasters for hot, cold, or wet items. Clean spills promptly and avoid prolonged sun exposure. Keep away from humidity to prevent warping or bending of veneer.
